• The promoter of this draw is Summerhill GFC Club which has been given responsibility for raising money for the benefit of developing and enhancing Summerhill GFC Club and the facilities for Members of the said Club.
• Summerhill GFC Club have a licence from the district court in Meath District for this draw.
• The Draw is open to anyone subject to entry being restricted to natural persons 18 years of age and over only. Any tickets purchased by persons under the age of 18 years shall be declared null and void and shall not be included nor deemed to be included in the Draw. Any such entry entered into the Draw will be declared invalid and another ticket will be drawn in its place.
• The cost of entry to the draw will be €50/one, €100/3 tickets.
• Only those who have purchased an official ticket are eligible to participate in this Draw.
• By purchasing a Ticket, an entrant is deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
• These terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law.
• Each ticket will be eligible for additional prizes if, and when, these are announced.
• There is no limit on the number of tickets which an individual may purchase for said Draw.
• Once purchased no refunds will be issued except in the event of cancellation of the draw.
• Any notice, announcement, information or bulletin in relation to the Draw whether public or otherwise or wheresoever published is only intended to be a notice to the entrants of the Draw and is not intended to be nor directed to any other persons whatsoever.
• All members of Summerhill GFC Club who participate in this draw are subject to the rules of Summerhill GFC Club.
• Summerhill GFC Club’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the competition or the competition result.
• Neither the Club nor any of its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, committee members or the organisers of the Draw of whatsoever nature or howsoever appointed shall be liable to the Entrants for any loss, inconvenience, damage or expense suffered by the entrants participating in this Draw.
• Neither the Club nor any of its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, committee members or the organisers of the Draw shall be liable for any failure in the performance of its obligations due to factors beyond its and/or their control.
• First prize is a 2024 BMW 330e Hybrid model. The winner will be registered as owner of said vehicle. No other alternatives will be offered.
• All Insurance and Road Tax costs are at the Winners expense.

• The Prizes are not transferable.
• The winner(s) of the Car will be responsible for all costs involved in the registration of the vehicle.
• Summerhill GFC Club shall not be liable for any loss suffered due to any issues with the construction of the car.
• After the draw has taken place and the car has been registered in the name of the winner(s) the Summerhill GFC Development Draw will have no direct or indirect financial interest in the said car and will be free from any encumbrances in favour of Summerhill GFC Club.
• The organisers of this draw shall not derive any personal profit from it.
• The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of his or her name and image in any publicity material as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants shall be used solely in accordance with current Irish data Protection Legislation and in connection with the draw and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrants’ prior consent.
• The ticket purchaser, by entering the draw accepts, the Summerhill GFC will communicate with them by using the available personal data.

• Entries to the draw will close at 7pm on 30th March 2024. The draw will be held at 9pm on 30th March 2024.
• Summerhill GFC Development Draw reserve the right to cancel or amend the draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or any other event outside the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition shall be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Summerhill GFC Club.
• The winning ticket and ticket holder will be subject to verification by Summerhill GFC club and their agents. This process may take up to 7 working days to complete.
• The winner(s) will be notified by email within 3 days of the draw date. The winner will be deemed to have been notified on the date of the email notification. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 21 days of notification, Summerhill GFC Club reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. In this event, any subsequent draw will take place in accordance with these terms and conditions until a new winner is established.
• Summerhill GFC Club shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations caused by factors outside its control.
• The Implementation, conduct and verification of this draw will be fully supervised by an Independent Adjudicator.
• Summerhill GFC Club accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption communications failure or otherwise.
• Facebook or Instagram do not own or endorse this raffle and shall not be held liable for anything associated with the sale of tickets through their platforms.
• In the event that insufficient tickets are sold for commercial viability, Summerhill GFC club reserves the right to cancel the draw. In this event all ticket holders will be refunded.

1. Conduct of Draw:

• The draw will take place on Saturday 30th March in Summerhill.
• The first ticket drawn will win the 1st Prize and the second ticket drawn will win the 2nd Prize, continuing similarly until all prizes have been allocated.
• The Club will appoint independent observers who will oversee the conduct of the draw.

2. Additional/Early Bird Draws:

•  A maximum of 5 Additional/ ‘Early Bird’ Draws will be held in the period from launch to March 2024. All tickets sold up to the day before the Draw shall be eligible for entry in the Early Bird draw.
• It is intended that these prizes will include such prizes as Holiday/Leisure Vouchers, All-Ireland Final Tickets for August 2024 Football or Hurling Final and Tickets for main draw.
• Details of the Early Bird prizes and draw schedule will be updated regularly on www.summerhilllgfc.com

3. Communications:

• The First Prize of a BMW 330e Hybrid.  The owner of the winning ticket should notify Christy Ryan Chairman of Summerhill GFC within 1 week of the Draw.
• The Car will be Supplied by Colm Quinn Motors.

4. Second Prize of a Racehorse for a Racing Season:

• The Second Prize consists of the ‘Ownership of a Racehorse for a season or a cash alternative of €10,000. The owner of the winning ticket should notify the Chairperson of Summerhill GFC of their choice of prize within one week of the Draw.
• The prize includes training by Gordon Elliott Racing (the Trainer) and other benefits as detailed below.
• The ownership rights shall be defined by way of a leasehold agreement (the Lease) granted by the Trainer to the winning ticket holder (the Lessee).
• The ownership rights shall commence on 1^st September 2024 and end at midnight on 30th April 2025 when ownership shall immediately revert to the Trainer.
• Summerhill GFC will undertake to pay all training fees on behalf of the Lessee, for the period of the Lease.
• The Lessee shall be entitled to all prize money won by the horse less HRI deductions for Trainer and jockey.
• The Trainer’s decision on all matters concerning the training, veterinary intervention and racing of the horse shall be final.
• If the horse breaks down and has not run at least 5 times within the Lease period the Trainer will replace the horse with an alternative horse of the Trainer’s sole choice for the remainder of the Lease period.
• Summerhill GFC shall appoint a person with horse racing knowledge to act as an intermediary for contact between the Lessee and the Trainer.
• The Lessee will be responsible for costs associated with entering the horse into all races.
• The Lessee will be Responsible for any veterinary bills that may occur.
• The Trainer will facilitate, as far as practicable.

5. General Conditions:

• Summerhill GFC reserves the right to alter any matters relating to the operation and scheduling of the draw.
• The decision of the Executive Committee of Summerhill GFC in relation to any matter related to the conduct of the draw shall be final.
