Summerhill’s 2nd team recorded their first win in the Premier Division 1 Championship with a good win against Dunshaughlin in Paddy O’Brien Park on Sunday morning. Summerhill lead by 4 at the break 2-6 to 2-2 with the goals coming from Darragh Tormey and Conor Summerville. Dunshaughlin could only add two more pointed frees to their tally in the second half, thanks in particular to the performance of corner backs Darren Chapman and Darragh Loughrey who both had excellent games. In the end Summerhill ran out comfortable winners by nine points. Next up in two weeks is the final round against Donaghmore Ashbourne.
