Summerhill got off to a great start and were leading by 7 points to 1 by the 20th minute. However the home side took over for the rest of the half and the sides went in level at 8 points apiece at the break.

The pattern of the 2nd half almost matched the first. Summerhill raced into a 4 point lead midway through the half but again took their foot off the gas and allowed the home side back into the game.
