Summerhill second team got off to a winning start in the Junior Championship Group ‘ C’ game with a convincing win over Wolfe Tones in Trim on Saturday evening. The ‘hill made great use of a very strong wind in the first half , with goals from Eoghan Jennings and Cathal Brien going in at the break 2-11 to 1-0 to the good. With the wind favoring the Tones in the second half,there was always the chance they might raise a challenge, but  with further goals from Paul Larkin, Paul Rispin and Eamon Mcdonnell it wasn’t to be as the ‘hill kept the pressure on throughout the second half and went on to win on a scoreline of 5-19 to 3-6.
