Summerhill came out second best in round one of the Fairyhouse Steel SFC against Donaghnore/Ashbourne  on Sunday in Dunshaughlin. It was the Ashbourne side that got off to the better start with a goal early on, but with five points from Barry Dardis and a goal late in the half from John Lavelle it was Summerhill that went in one point to the good at half time. With all to play for in the second half it was Donaghmore /Ashbourne who had the bigger fight in them and went on to win by five points in the end.
